One of our concepts for Ron Abuelo had some cool user controlled zooming animations for the bottles of the Ron Abuelo line, like the one you see above. We had great super-hi-res photography of those bottles, so it had to be done 🙂
After experimenting with several animation frameworks, we chose babylon.js to create the interactive animations on the new Ron Abuelo website.
The babylon.js WebGL engine provided the most consistent framerates across devices. We were really wowed by the performance, even on modest smartphones, and with high resolution textures.
