Astron
ASTRON is the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy. Its main office is in Dwingeloo in the Dwingelderveld National Park in the province of Drenthe.
“We are geared to capitalise our expertise in radio astronomy technology and astronomical research to the benefit of society. Our pursuit of cutting-edge, fundamental science, coupled with advanced observing facilities and a strong R&D enable us reach this goal.”
Project
A fresh new look for ASTRON's website
Rocketclowns rebuilt ASTRON’s website from the ground up. The old Drupal site was starting to show its age, and migrating the entire site to WordPress and OxygenBuilder turned out to be the most attractive and cost-efficient option.
We implemented a new, fresh look and feel based on a UI design by bravebox.io.
Technology
Another website proving Rocketclowns 2020 web development technology
astron.nl is another site built with our new 2020 development stack.
A fast-loading site was one of the goals, and our technology delivers optimized bloat-free code with an efficient development trajectory, low development costs, and zero compromises in UI implementation.
This technology effortlessly scales to large, high content volume projects such as astron.nl.
